THWS Cloud

The THWS IT Service Centre provides the THWS Cloud as THWS's own cloud service. The THWS Cloud can be accessed via a web browser (Edge, Firefox, etc.) at https://cloud.thws.de. Users log in using their university domain credentials. Each user has a maximum of five gigabytes of storage space available for storing files.

Office documents stored in the THWS Cloud can be opened, edited, and saved directly there. This allows you to work together on an Office document without having to download it. Please ensure that you do not edit any personal or sensitive documents in this way.

Please note

  • The THWS Cloud is a personal drive for sharing and storing data and documents.
  • The THWS Cloud must not be used as a backup system. The ITSC, as the department responsible for its operation, accepts no responsibility for backing up data. No backups are made.
  • The ITSC does not provide cloud storage for functional mailboxes.
  • Before exchanging data with others, consider who you are sharing information with and whether these people are trustworthy. The ITSC accepts no responsibility.
  • You must not store files containing THWS administrative data and/or personal data.
  • Take care not to infringe any copyright.
