Please note that print and scan jobs are location-specific and cross-campus. Please select the portal corresponding to your location. You log in to the portal using your THWS user account. Access to the portals is only possible within the THWS network.

The web-based Q-Pilot user service does not support all the printing functions available on a THWS PC (e.g. in the PC pools). These include functions such as multiple pages per sheet, number of copies, or black-and-white printing. If these functions are required, the documents to be printed must first be converted to PDF in the desired format. The PDF can then be printed using the “mobilePrint” function of the Q-Pilot user service. Printing

You can either send your print job directly from a PC or upload the documents you wish to print to the location-specific QPilot portal. You can then print on any icPrint device at the relevant THWS location. To do so, you must authenticate yourself using your THWS Card at the icPrint terminal, which is located directly next to the printer. You can find the locations of the multifunction devices HERE.
Scanning

You can scan documents on all icPrint devices. To use the scan function, log in with your THWS Card at the icPrint terminal on the multifunction device. The scanned file is saved on the print server and can be accessed via the relevant site portal. If the scan is smaller than 1 MB, it will also be sent directly by e-mail to your THWS address.
Copying
You can scan documents on all icPrint devices. To use the copying function, log in with your THWS Card at the icPrint terminal on the multifunction device. Please also note the associated costs. Staff members with the appropriate authorisation can choose between personal and work-related printing. For work-related printing, the costs are charged to the relevant cost centre.
