THWS account
You will need a valid THWS user account and a THWS Card (student or staff ID card). If you wish to print directly from a computer, you must be logged in to that PC with your user account (this is usually the case, for example, in the computer lab or on a staff PC).

Printing at THWS

The printer drivers for printing via the IC print devices are pre-installed on the computers in the computer pools and in the reading room. To install them on staff computers, please contact your designated IT support officer. 

Printing outside THWS

To print outside THWS, please use the Q-Pilot portal. You can find information on printing HERE. 

Location

Your PC must be connected to THWS’ network (either via LAN or Wi-Fi on the THWS campus, or via VPN from home)

Costs

Please note

Please do not use the printers for mass printing. Although 5,000 sheets may sound impressive, once you start printing 400-page lecture notes, the printer’s capacity is only enough for 12.5 printouts – and all the other students are then left standing in front of an empty printer until the printer service arrives. For large jobs of this kind, there are copying services that produce the copies more cheaply, bind them and even deliver them directly to the lecture room.
